1. Information Collection And Use

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.

Stockonic operates entirely on your local device. Because the application is designed to be completely self-contained and offline-first:

  • We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.
  • We do not track your usage via analytics SDKs.
  • We do not collect crash reports automatically.
  • All products, contacts, transactions, and settings you create are saved exclusively in a local SQLite database (Room Database) directly on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Zero Permissions Commitment

Stockonic is designed to require zero dangerous permissions. We respect your device security boundaries:

  • No Internet Permission: The app fundamentally lacks the ability to connect to the internet, proving that your data cannot leave your device.
  • No Contacts Permission: While you can manage "Contacts" (suppliers/customers) within the app, this data is siloed inside Stockonic and does not read your phone's native address book.
  • No Location Permission: We do not track where you use the app.
  • No Storage Permission required: Stockonic uses isolated app-specific storage for saving local database backups and generating PDF invoices.

3. Data Backup and Export

Stockonic features tools allowing you to export your data (e.g., CSV exports, PDF Invoices, Database Backups). When utilizing these features, the generated files are saved directly to your device's local filesystem or shared explicitly via the Android Share sheet at your direct command. We have no access to these exported files.

4. Third-Party Services

Because Stockonic operates strictly offline and includes no tracking frameworks, it does not share data with any third-party services, advertisers, or analytics providers.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Given our offline nature, no data from children is ever transmitted to us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, any changes will reflect our continued commitment to offline-first, locally-stored data principles. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
